3D printed insert for board game Nucleum (2023) and expansions Nucleum: Court of Progress (2024), Nucleum: Australia (2024), Nucleum: Patrons Set (2024), Nucleum: Energy Research Institute (2025) and Nucleum: Gibraltar (2026).
The insert also has enough space for Acrylic Nucleums Promo (2023), Half Tiles Promo (2023), Neons Promo (2024), New Contracts Promo (2024), Railway-only Action Tiles Promo (2025), Dice Tower Promo (2025), New Starting Contract Tiles (2025), Neutral Buildings Promo (2025), Turbine Development Tiles Promo (2025), New Military Technologies Promo (2026) and Plutonium Mines Expansion (2026).
The insert is designed for faster setup, clear sorting and safe storage of Nucleum components, including expansions. The new version adds support for Nucleum: Energy Research Institute and Nucleum: Gibraltar while keeping the option to store the game vertically.
- Contracts from all expansions fit into the original contract boxes from the base insert – the grey, yellow and purple boxes remain one shared place for all contracts.
- No extra contract boxes and no need to store contracts in several different places.
- All player components except rails are stored in each player's own box.
- A taller double card holder replaces the two original low trays and fits player LAMA cards, Patrons and promo cards, including sleeved cards.
- The game can be stored horizontally or vertically.
Choose the version according to which expansions you want to store in the insert.
- Base game + Nucleum: Court of Progress + Nucleum: Australia – insert for the base game and 2 expansions. In the product options, it is shown as Base game + 2 expansions.
- Base game + Nucleum: Court of Progress + Nucleum: Australia + Nucleum: Energy Research Institute + Nucleum: Gibraltar – insert for the base game and 4 expansions. In the product options, it is shown as Base game + 4 expansions.
- Upgrade of the original insert for Nucleum: Energy Research Institute + Nucleum: Gibraltar – an upgrade for owners of the original insert who want to expand storage from 2 to 4 expansions. In the product options, it is shown as Upgrade from 2 to 4 expansions.
- All versions include room for promos and Nucleum: Patrons Set.
- Base game + 2 expansions fits into the base game box.
- Base game + 4 expansions uses the base game box together with the lower box from an expansion, where additional components are stored.
- Place the top part of the expansion box onto the bottom part of the base game box. When both boxes are closed with the base game lid, they close properly if you use 2 maps.
- If you store 3 maps, the lid will be lifted by roughly the height of the third map and a gap will appear between the top part of the expansion box and the base game lid.
- The game can still be stored vertically.
- Black – clean black version.
- Color – black base with colored contract trays and player colors.
- Nucleum radioactive – bright green with black details, colored contract trays and player colors.
Experiment Board holders can be added to the insert as an optional upgrade. They help keep the Boards together and reduce the risk of damage to thin cardboard parts.
- ABCDEF – boards for the base game and Nucleum: Court of Progress.
- GHIJKLMN – boards for Nucleum: Energy Research Institute, including the double K board.
- When buying the full insert, we recommend adding all boards. If you already own the original insert and the basic boards, you only need to add the expansion boards.
- The boards are made of PETG material in brown, which matches the original experiment boards best.
