Dice as both resources and actions
Tiletum’s central mechanism gives every die a dual purpose. The value of the die determines how many resources you gain, while the strength of the associated action works in the opposite direction: taking more resources usually means a weaker action, and vice versa. Every draft therefore creates an important choice between immediate income and a more powerful move.
Tiletum combines trade, contracts, point-to-point travel, cathedral construction, set collection and end-game scoring. A game takes roughly 60–100 minutes and rewards careful planning as you coordinate your merchant, architect, fairs and long-term scoring opportunities.
